BALLET

Teaching the CSTD Classical Ballet Syllabus, this style will improve grace, coordination and confidence and is the foundation of all kinds of dance. Dancers will be taught exercises and combinations that also increase their musical awareness. Beautiful posture, flexibility, strength and grace are just a few of the wonderful benefits of ballet.

JAZZ

Students will learn from the CSTD Modern Jazz Syllabus. Acquire jazz technique and flexibility in a fun and energetic class, while dancing to all the latest hits. Technique will be developed as well as jazz dance skills, correct alignment, different rhythms and the ability to express oneself in a range of styles.

TAP DANCING

Tap is one of the most entertaining and challenging forms of dance. It develops a great sense of rhythm and some fast footwork. Students will learn from the PDA Unique Technique Syllabus. It is great for all ages and develops strong tap technique with expression, challenging rhythms and sounds.

CONTEMPORARY

Contemporary dance describes a range of techniques and styles and was developed as a reaction to the rigid techniques of ballet. It is versatile and can be danced to almost any style of music. This style works with the body’s natural lines and energy, and dancers develop a greater range and fluidity of movement.

JAZZ TROUPE

Routines will be choreographed specifically to perform at events. The focus will be on perfecting jazz dance technique, and confidence and performance skills will be developed.

HIP-HOP

Hip-hop dance refers to street dance styles primarily performed to hip-hop music or that have evolved as part of hip-hop culture. It includes a wide range of styles notably breaking, locking, and popping which were created in the 1970’s.

ACROBATICS

Acrobatics is the perfect class to teach your child balance and co-ordination as well as sharing in the benefits of working within a team environment. It enhances balance, co-ordination and agility; develops posture and confident body movement, including the ability to land safely; challenges the mind and body to reach new goals and builds strength and flexibility for challenge in life.
